Vani Technologies ("we", "us", "our") operates www.vanitechnologies.in and related platforms. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you use our IT and professional services, software and SaaS products, e-commerce and digital storefront solutions, and online payments facilitated through authorized payment gateways.

This document is provided for transparency and payment-gateway / marketplace compliance. It is not legal advice. For jurisdiction-specific obligations, consult qualified counsel.

1. Scope

This policy applies to visitors, clients, registered users, buyers, and partners who interact with our website, client portals, product demos, contact forms, checkout flows (where enabled), and support channels.

2. Information we collect

  • Identity & contact: name, email, phone, company, billing/shipping address (for commerce or invoicing).
  • Account data: username, hashed credentials, role, preferences (when you register or use a client area).
  • Service & project data: requirements, files, messages, and metadata you submit for custom development, consulting, or support.
  • Transaction data: order IDs, amounts, currency, payment status, invoices, and tax identifiers. We do not store full card numbers, CVV, or UPI PIN on our servers.
  • Payment gateway data: payment tokens, gateway references, and fraud/risk signals processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers (e.g. Razorpay, PayU, Stripe, or others we enable for your order).
  • E-commerce data: cart contents, product interests, delivery preferences, and return/refund requests where applicable.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, logs, cookies, and analytics events.

3. How we use information

  • Deliver, operate, and improve our services, software, and e-commerce features.
  • Process payments, subscriptions, refunds, and chargebacks via authorized gateways.
  • Communicate about orders, projects, security alerts, and support.
  • Verify identity, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
  • Comply with applicable law, tax, and accounting requirements.
  • Send marketing only where permitted and with opt-out where required.

4. Payment processing

Online payments are processed by third-party payment gateways. When you pay, you may be redirected to or embedded in the gateway's secure interface. The gateway collects and processes card, net-banking, wallet, or UPI details according to its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS standards. We receive limited confirmation data (e.g. transaction ID, status, last four digits where applicable) to fulfill your order or service agreement.

5. Sharing of information

We may share personal information with:

  • Payment gateways, banks, and fraud-prevention partners to complete transactions.
  • Cloud hosting, email, SMS, analytics, and CRM providers under contract.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) when necessary.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
  • Successors in a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for session management, preferences, security, and analytics. You can control cookies through browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit site functionality (e.g. cart or login).

7. Data retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Transaction records may be kept for periods required by Indian law and payment-network rules.

8. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, secure hosting). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you use our services at your own risk within industry norms.

9. Your rights

Depending on applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, where applicable), you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Contact us using the details below. We may verify your identity before responding.

10. Children
